East Midlands Diamond Drilling (EMDD), formed in 1982, is one of the largest contracting companies involved in concrete cutting and controlled demolition in the United Kingdom. The company is a leading member of the Drilling and Sawing Association and was the first in its field to be accredited with Quality Assurance and, more recently, Investors in People.
The company operates from its own purpose built administration centre and workshop facility, which is located in Central England close to the motorway network. In order to maintain an efficient service, it runs a fleet of 30 modern vehicles, each equipped with permanent communication and satellite location and control systems.
EMDD offers a nationwide service employing a highly skilled direct labour force which is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All of our 50 site staff are trained to a high level of competence and hold CSCS certificates. Our management and supervisory staff is a highly technically competent team and together with our site operatives, is able to offer a complete controlled demolition and waste management works package.
